Leigh from Solcomp approached us after feeling limited by the default product category options provided within the Wix platform. While the rest of the Wix ecosystem suited their business needs, the lack of flexibility in this particular area was holding them back from creating the kind of customer experience they wanted.

Their website was originally built using the Classic Wix Editor, so as part of the project we upgraded their site to Wix Studio to give them a more modern, flexible foundation. On top of this, we implemented a fully custom product category system using Wix Velo, tailored specifically to their requirements.

By integrating directly with the Wix Stores APIs, we ensured that categories and products automatically update from the backend, eliminating the need for Leigh to make any manual changes on the front end. This not only streamlines store management but also guarantees a seamless, user-friendly shopping experience for Solcomp’s customers.
